New York Daily NewsFor the record, I never said the only game you could play on  netbooks was solitaire, but other than that I stand by most of the statements attributed to me in yesterday’s NY Daily News article about netbooks. The reporter contacted me what feels like ages ago to ask me a few questions about netbooks. I’d all but forgotten about it until a Google News alert brought the story to my attention today.

I also find it kind of funny that my name is hyperlinked to a Daily News tag while the words “liliputing.com” include no link at all. 

Oh, and most netbooks can handle some of the less demanding 3D shooters, RPGs,  or console emulators just fine.

  2. The NY Daily News has no clue of what a netbook can do. Most fullsize laptops are not good for gaming unless you push out about $1500 bucks

  3. Good to see the Daily News upholding its high standards of consumer reporting.

    Be on the look out for next week’s stories, “Pocket Fisherman Doesn’t Fit in My Pocket Mr. Popeil” and “Hostess Snack Cakes Inadequate to Replace Entire Meal” 😉

    Seriously, it was a decent article despite somewhat odd. Any reporting on Netbooks is helpful to spread the word.

  4. Yeah Brad, you should play other games than solitaire 😀 Netbooks can handle lots of games of course if you wanna play crysis… then do it on your desktop 😀
