The Lenovo IdeaPad S9 is pretty much the same computer as the Lenovo IdePad S10. Except it has an 8.9 inch display instead of a 10 inch display, and it’s a bit cheaper. Lenovo has said it has no plans to sell the S9 in the US, but you can already pick up a Lenovo IdeaPad S9e from Germany’s T-Mobile store.
T-Mobile is charging 330 Euros, or about $450 US dollars for the netbook, which comes with Windows XP, an 80GB hard drive, 1G of RAM, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU and Bluetooth. The S10 costs about 20 euros or $30 more and comes with a larger display and a 160GB hard drive.
Update: It looks like a version of the Lenovo IdeaPad S9 is available in the US after all.
