…Andy Lindeman. He has kindly accepted the challenge of getting all of this computer gear out of my living room. And he’s promised to donate several of the computers and the software to NorthStar Youth Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama for use in their camp programs.

Over 500 people entered the Liliputing HP Magic Giveaway. I narrowed down the list to the entries that were most generous in the spirit of the whole  magic of giving way. (That means I weeded out the entries where people stated explicitly that they would sell all of the computers on eBay, although there was a part of me that wanted to reward their honesty).

I then picked a random number using Random.org and it pointed to Andy Lindeman’s entry.

Congratulations Andy!

If you didn’t win this contest, fear not. There are still plenty of chances to enter on other web sites participating in the HP Magic Giveaway. And you can also still enter the Notebooks.com and Liliputing Lenovo IdeaPad S10 Giveaway.

Ah, so we had to lie like they did? 😉 Kidding. I’m sure Andy didn’t lie since his cause was youth ministry; meaning, the wrath of an angry god would have been his comeupance for a lack of truely generous spirt. Congrats, Andy I hope the kids enjoy them!

    1. I will send on pictures of what I do with the prizes for NorthStar, if you need proof 😉

I’m so excited: thanks for the support!

  2. Plenty of chances left ? I don’t see so.I’ve already lost more than 40 of them & i’ll come 2nd even if there were two participants.

    1. dido…LOL, I think if there were only one entry (mine), it’d get lost before the deadline-haha!!!

Sure, it’s quite a bit depressing, but all you can do is move on to the next…
I’ve been trying for all the HP giveaways and have never been lucky enough to win 🙁
I kept on saying to myself, third times a charm (31 days of the dragon, 15 freshman PC giveaway and now this, oh well!!!)

Merry Christmas everyone, I have to admit that it was still fun.
      Thanks Liliputing 🙂
