Liliputing reader Francesco wrote in this morning to point out an unusual netbook listing on eBay. The Hasee MJ125 looks a bit like a rebranded ECS G10IL at first glance. But upon closer inspection, it’s clear that the MJ125 is at least superficially different from the the ECS G10IL, MSI Wind, or most other netbooks I’ve seen rebadged and shipped under different names. So I did a little digging.
Hasee is apparently a Chinese computer maker, and the Hasee MJ125 is being made available in Europe. You can find more information on the mini laptop at the Hasee Europe page. But here are the highlights:
- CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Atom
- Display: 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel
- Chipset: Intel 945GSE
- Graphics: Intel GMA 950
- Memory: 1GB DDR2 RAM (which is apparently the maximum amont the computer will support)
- Storage:160GB HDD
- Connectivity: 802.11b/g WiFi, Ethernet
- Expansion: 3 USB ports, 4-in-1 card reader, mic input, headphone/line-out, VGA output
- Webcam: Yes (unspecified resolution)
- Weight: 1.4kg or 3.1 pounds
- Dimensions: 258mm x 189mm x 28mm or 10.2″ x 7.4″ x 1.1″
- Color: White and Pink
The product page says this netbook is Windows and Linux compatible. But it’s not clear what operating system it ships with. I also don’t see a suggested retail price, but it’s going for 370 Euros on eBay, which is about $470 dollars. Today anyway.
thanks Francesco!

Wow $470 is too much for Chinese laptop, knowing how unreliable they could be. I found an online china wholesale shop and all their laptops are under $400. Here is the link https://www.bigboxstore.com/computers/notebooks . It seems none of them have any reviews yet, not sure how many these guys sell :
I live in Beijing and I unfortunately I bought a Hasee laptop here. Unfortunately because only one year after I bought it a small piece inside the computer broke and no one could fix it because it was very difficult to buy a replacement piece. It took me more than 1 month until I found a dodgy repair guy that was able to find the piece for the laptop. And it was unbelievingly expensive.
I should have listened to my Chinese friends not to buy anything from this brand because of its cheap/bad quality. Now besides the bad quality I can add poor after-sales customer service…
This happened in China were the computers are made, imagine if anything happens to your laptop in Europe or Americas!
Brad, please don’t take attention to this Jeff guy. Mivvy is our OEM client.
By the way, I don’t understand guys from netbook3g blog, they stupidly always try to compare brands, but they ignore they don’t have no official info at all!!! :
Hi Brad, I think this is a clone of mivvy l310 you have talk about here :
