Pink Acer Aspire OneWhether you’re interested in a pink laptop becuse it matches your handbag, or because you (probably falsely) believe that your laptop is less likely to be stolen while wander into the coffee shop bathroom leaving it on the table, Acer’s got you covered. The company is preparing to launch an Acer Aspire One netbook with a pink and white color scheme. Acer already offers netbooks in blue, brown and white. And while a pink model has been in the works for a while, Eee PC News has some of the first photos I’ve seen of the pink version.

Other netbook makers including MSI have already release pink editions. And Lenovo plans to come out with a pink version of the IdeaPad S10.

  1. well, why dont you guys ever put the prices at the start. That will be much easier than to keep on clicking stuff just to get to the price.

P.S:Nice pink netbook,i LOVE it,but again no price on the front page.

  2. Theres one just like this at a store for 200 dollars. YOU ARE RIPPING PPL OFF

  3. They are in stock (120 GB, Windows XP version) at Fry’s Electronics in Renton, WA – I saw them there earlier this week.

I recently bought the 160GB XP version with the six-cell battery (in white) from Amazon and so far am pleased. I had almost half the battery left after three hours in a coffee shop last Saturday writing in Open Office, surfing with Firefox 3.0 and listening to iTunes.

    1. I haven’t seen a brown one yet (that’s the color I would’ve gotten if I could – Amazon didn’t even list it). Fry’s had blue ones (also three cell battery, 120GB, XP) before the pink ones.

  4. I brought a pink acer aspire one for my wife last week, they had been out in NZ for a fair while

  5. it’s not “soon” its been out. my wife already got one from walmart… matches her pink NDS & Samsung Juke.

      1. why did that link go bad on you?By the way i didnt even put my real email adress i just made it up so dont even try to reply! LOL!

  6. Usually pink netbooks end up selling for less because few people actually WANT a pick netbook. Some reseller should sell these with some masking tape and a can of Krylon fusion.
