Sure, MSI may have decided to replace the Synaptics touchpad in its Wind laptops with a less functional Sentelic touchpad. But hey, now you can get a Wind with a 120GB hard drive instead of the standard 80GB drive.

The new version should be available starting immediately, but it might take a while before you start to see the 120GB version arrive at stores in your country.

  1. Holy smoke! Why would I want an less functional touchpad and instead get an measly 40GB bigger hdd?

And I’m still waiting to get mine!? Please let there be some better alternative out soon so I can cancel my order for this.

I live in sweden btw, feels like they don’t care about us up north but I guess they are having problems in the U.S. too.

  2. How can they deliver 120GB HD models when they can’t deliver 80 GB ones here in the US?????

  3. Seems to me large HDs on these net books are kind of pointless….wouldn’t big drives with lots of data just slow them down….I’m sure the Atom 1.6 is powerful for what it is but it ain’t no dual core…..external HDs that stay at home are the place to save important data.
