Hot on the heels of the gold colored Eee PC 900A, Asus is showing off some pictures of an upcoming blue Eee PC 901A. French language site Blogeee and German language Eee PC News both have a whole slew of press shots.
The deep blue color looks awfully similar to the shade of blue Acer picked for the Acer Aspire One. Coincidence? Eh, maybe.
And before you ask, no I have no idea what the A stands for in 901A. The Eee PC 900A is basically an Eee PC 900 with an Intel Atom CPU instead of the original Intel Celeron chip. But the Eee PC 901 already has an Atom processor, so maybe the A stands for blue? Wait, that can’t be right.
Perhaps A is the new with 3G?

It will all become clear when they release the 901B in red, the 901C in yellow, the 901D in lime green, …
You see, they were running out of ideas on how to release new models…
exactly, what is the difference between 901 and 901A?
A could stand for “azure” which means blue. Maybe? Only “azure” is a lighter blue…
Oh! Maybe it’s “azul” which is “blue” in Spanish?
Okay, I’ve got nothing. [=^D
