When some people get a new computer they can’t wait to get it home so they can surf the web, play video games, or write TPS reports. Jkkmobile is a different breed. The first thing he does with a new PC is take it apart and look at its insides to see how he can improve it. And that’s exactly what he’s done with the new Asus Eee PC 900A.

The 900A, for anyone who has lost track of the umpteen different Eee PC models, is basically an Eee PC 900 with an Intel Atom CPU instead of the original Celeron processor. Like the original Eee PC 900, it has an 8.9 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, and 8G, 16GB, or 20GB of solid state memory.

Jkkmobile has posted a handful of pictures ofthe 900A with its top off on his blog, and also a few hints to let you know what hacks might be coming soon. It looks likely that he’ll be upgrading the SSD and/or tucking a hard drive in there, and adding Bluetooth.
