Fujitsu Siemens may have already unveiled the much anticipated Amilo Mini netbook in Germany, but it’s not clear if that particular laptop will be available outside of Europe. But it looks like Fujitsu does have plans for world domination, or at least market saturation, as the company plans to introduce the M1010 netbook in Asia during Q4 of this year.
The M1010 is part of a new M series, and while there aren’t any pictures of the laptop available yet, on paper it looks a lot like the Amilo Mini. It has an 8.9 inch display, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3MP camera, and weighs less than 1kg (or about 2.2 pounds).
No word on pricing or availability outside of the Asia Pacific region. But Laptop Magazine indicates that Fujitsu has no plans to release either netbook or any other netbook in the US… yet.
It may take server months to pass FCC, UL ..etc and you may probably need to wait for 3 to 4 months. You may order it via online store from Asia. I’ll recommend this one.
