It looks like Hot Hardware got their hands on the official specs for the Eee PC-branded desktop. The Eee Box B202 shares many features with the upcoming Eee PC 901 laptop, like 802.11n and Bluetooth, but the Eee Box comes in desktop form, which allows the company to give the computer more storage space and a significantly lower price.

Here’s an overview, including the US configurations and prices

  • 80GB HDD + 1GB RAM + Linux = $269
  • 80GB HDD + 1GB RAM + Windows XP = $299
  • 160GB HDD + 2GB RAM + Linux = $299
  • CPU: Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz, FSB 533)
  • RAM: 512MB to 2GB
  • Storage: 80G to 250GB
  • Chipset: Intel 945GSE + ICH7M
  • Display: Intel GMA 950, up to 1600 x 1200 resolution
  • Connectivity: Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth
  • Card reader: SD/SDHC/MMC/MMC Plus/RS MMC/MS/MS Pro
  • Audio Azalia ALC888 Audio chip
  • Ports: 4 USb, headphone, mic, DVI, Line out

The Eee Box does not ship with an optical disc drive, but you can probably find USB drive to do the trick.
