HP’s 2133 Mini-Note laptop was scheduled to begin shipping this week. And it appears that it has… at least for some customers. Yesterday Engadget reported that some folks were getting emails from HP stating that their orders were being pushed back a bit. But some people posted comments in the article saying that they’d received shipping notifications already.

Now Tom Reynolds of CLUMPC says he’s received several separate confirmations that his computer has actually shipped. He’s even got a UPS tracking code in hand, but the code hasn’t been entered in the UPS system yet so he can’t start obsessively hitting the refresh page at UPS.com just yet.

I ordered my HP 2133 a few days after Tom and have an estimated delivery date of 4/19. I’m holding out hope that this means my notebook will actually arrive on the 19th, but there’s always a chance”delivery” is just HP’s not
