Intel introduces the Ultrabook category for ultraportable laptops under $1000

Intel has introduced a new buzzword for thin and light laptops with next-generation Intel processors. The company describes an “ultrabook” as a laptop with “tablet-like” features including a slim size and sub-$1000 price tag. Lenovo ThinkPad X220 12.5 inch ultraportable laptop caught hiding in plain sight

MacBook Air reviewed

With a starting price of $999, it’s hard to call the new MacBook Air a netbook… if your definition of netbook is a small, cheap computer.
