Asus Eee Top ET1610PT all-in-one PC to sport Pine Trail power

Asus is apparently preparing to launch its first all-in-one PC with Intel Atom Pine Trail processors. The company has been putting out desktop computer-in-a-display systems under the Eee Top brand for a year or two. But the Eee Top ET1610PT will be the first to come with a single core Intel Atom D410 Pine Trail processor and integrated GMA 3150…

Samsung launches line of all-in-one desktops in Korea

Samsung is launching three new all-in-one desktops in Korea, including one that features the latest generation Intel Atom processor. The Samsung MU100 features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CP and integrated GMA 3150 graphics. That’s mildly surprising, since this is the chip designed for netbooks. Intel offers the Atom D410 single core and D510 dual core processors for netbooks. Other…

Next generation netbooks with Intel Atom Pine Trail processors have been hogging the headlines for the last few days. But it’s not just mini-laptops that are getting the Pine Trail treatment. HP Pavilion MS214 review

back-angle2

HP has been making all-in-one desktop PCs for a few years, but the HP Pavilion MS214 is one of the company’s first budget models. While other companies including Lenovo, Asus, MSI, and Shuttle have chosen to keep costs down in similar machines by using netbook-like guts including Intel Atom processors and Intel GMA 950 graphics, the HP M214 uses an…

ViewSonic VPC101 all-in-one coming soon with Windows 7 + touchscren

viewsonic vpc101

ViewSonic introduced three new computers this week, including a relatively inexpensive Windows 7 all-0in-one PC with a touchscreen display and two mini-PCs that are too powerful and expensive to really consider nettops. So I’m kind of ignoring the $750 VOT530 PC Mini and the $950 VOT550 for now and focusing instead on the upcoming $VPC101 all-in-one that should be available…

HP Pavilion MS214 all-in-one unboxing and first look – Video

ms214-score

The HP Pavilion MS214 is a budget all-in-one desktop PC. You know, kind of like the Asus Eee Top ET2002, Lenovo C100, and a whole bunch of other machines I’ve mentioned over the past few months. But while many of those models help keep the price and power consumption low by using netbook-like Intel Atom processors, the HP Pavilion MS214…

Chinese all-in-one packs Intel’s next generation Atom Pineview processor

k1850

The K1850 is an all-in-one desktop from a Chinese PC maker with an Intel Atom processor at its heart. Nothing too new there. But here’s what’s unusual about the K1850: It has an Intel Atom D510 chip which is part of Intel’s upcoming pine Trail platform. Shanzai.com reports that the PC has an 18.5 inch display, a 250GB hard drive,…
