An unannounced Asus tablet showed up at the GFXBench website in January, and now a device with the same model number has passed through the FCC.
In other words, it looks like a new Asus ZenPad or MeMO Pad tablet is coming soon. Details about the pricing and release date aren’t available, but the two leaks paint a picture of a tablet with decent specs for a mid-range model.
According to the GFXBench listing, the tablet runs Android 6.0 softwaer, has a 7.9 inch, 2048 x 1536 pixel display, a hexa-core processor with Qualcomm Adreno 510 graphics (which means it’s probably a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chip), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front camera.
The FCC documents also tell us that the Asus Pad P008 (probably not its official name)Â supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth, and features a 4,680 mAh battery.
