Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon line of laptops are thin-and-light notebooks made from premium materials and sporting premium hardware. The first model launched in 2012, and Lenovo has offered a new version every year since then.

That might change soon… because Lenovo may have three new models on the way.

According to a leaked product roadmap, here’s what we can expect soon:

  • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 14″ notebook in February, 2016
  • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet 12″ tablet (and keyboard dock) in February, 2016
  • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 14″ convertible with a 360 degree hinge in December, 2015

It’s likely we’ll see at least a few of those computers at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in January, but if the roadmap is correct, Lenovo could introduce the Yoga before the end of 2015.

Some upcoming accessories also include a wireless docking station and a wireless charging adapter for the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

The roadmap also also points to new 13 inch Windows and Chrome OS laptops coming in March and April, as well as new T, P, and X series notebooks, as well as the recently introduced Yoga S series of convertibles.

    1. Assuming they’re serious about making one, it’s probably still a year off, at least.

  2. Meh. I was more interested to see what wasn’t in the lineup. The X260 is as uninspiring as the previous couple of iterations. Still with the toy Mac keyboard with the screwed up layout and the yuge pad in the way making the whole machine overly large for a proper member of the X series.

    Looking like the trial balloon of a throwback ‘real’ Thinkpad aren’t going anywhere fast. Probably should just look to maxing out the ram and putting a fast SSD in my X200s and have another look around in two years since it is still mechanically sound.

    1. Given they were still surveying what people wanted out of a retro Thinkpad two months ago, it’s a little early to be expecting an announcement on it. If they make one at all, it won’t be before this time next year.

  3. That X1 tablet looks like it has a kickstand for tablet use AND a proper laptop-functional keyboard hinge (unlike Surface pro).

    If that’s the case, it would be my dream machine.

    Someone finally got it.

  4. Hmmm… So the S20 sticks around? Here in Asia the E10 sold like hotcakes, then they disappeared all together. Lenovo shooting itself in the foot again.
