Zotac offers a wide range of tiny desktop computers. Most are low-power systems, but a few models have powerful enough specs to function as gaming PCs.

Now Zotac is getting ready to launch a model with support for up to 4 external displays.

Zotac is introducing the ZBOX MA760 in advance of the Computex show in Taiwan in June.

The computer features a 35 watt AMD FX-7600P quad-core processor with AMD Radeon R7 graphics. It has four DisplayPort jacks and uses AMD’s Eyefinity technology to let you use up to four 4K displays.

Other features include

  • 2.5 inch SATA drive bay
  • 2 x 204-pin memory SODIMM slots
  • 802.11ac WiFi
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • 7.1 channel audio
  • Four USB 3.0 ports

Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, but Zotac will offer two different versions of the ZBOX MA760: a “plus” model that comes with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, and a barebones model that ships without memory, storage, or an operating system.

    1. Not really a future proof HTPC though since the hardware doesn’t support H265 decode from my understanding…

      1. You are right, I assumed this was Charrizo so will have to wait for a while longer to upgrade from my E-350 HTPC. Might just try the rk3288 with Android and SPMC and see how it performs on HEVC.

        1. For me, the only viable solution seems to be the Shield X1 that supports 4k h265 if that ever gets released.

EDIT: I just went to check, it is now released! Brad, get it on your news 🙂

      2. isnt it a pc — why wouldnt it be able to decode h265? you might have to download drivers, but thats not such a big deal

        1. It should be able to but will tax the cpu which will run hot and the fan would fire up and cause noise or just run really hot and use a lot of unnecessary power. Much easier to just wait for a chip with build in 265 vpu like the Charrizo from Amd or the rk3288 from Rockchip.

  1. One of these days I will learn what a display port is (besides the obvious use for connecting to a display) and how and if I can connect it to my TV.

    1. Your TV/Monitor either has it or doesn’t and it is like the HDMI except they don’t have to pay royalties to use it and is much more open standard so imho will take of HDMI use soon. I know AMD new FreeSync uses display port.
