The Toshiba Encore Mini is a Windows tablet with an Intel Atom Bay Trail quad-core processor and a kind of lousy display. But it’s cheap. The tablet has a list price of $120, but usually sells for closer to $100.
Right now you can pick one up for even less though: The Microsoft Store is selling the tablet plus a 16GB memory card for $79, making it one of the cheapest Windows tablets in the US.
There are cheaper Windows tablets available in the US, but this is the lowest price I’ve seen on a name brand model.

I almost bought one of these, until I saw the HP Stream 7 with better graphics and twice as much storage for the same price.
This may possibly be the year for a mobile Windows device for me, but not yet and certainly not this.
