Android Wear is Google’s operating system for smartwatches — but under the hood it’s basically the same software that runs on phones, tablets, TVs, and other Android devices. So while Google figures it’s easiest to launch apps on your wristwatch by using voice commands or a few simple gestures, some folks might want a bit of a more phone-like app launcher.

Enter Wear Mini Launcher.

This free app basically gives your Android Wear smartwatch a new home screen. If you have a lot of apps installed, this can make it a lot easier to find what you’re looking for.

Just swipe from the top left edge of the screen to pull up a list of available apps. This way you can switch apps from any screen instead of going into Android Wear’s native app list.

Wear mini Launcher also has a screen brightness that lets you tweak your display’s brightness without digging into the settings app.
