Small form-factor PC maker Giada has made a habit of offering tiny, low-power desktop computers. But the company’s newest models pack a little more power.

The Giada D2308 series desktops feature Intel Haswell processors and NVIDIA graphics in a PC that measures 9″ x 6.8″ x 2.15″. While there are certainly more compact computers on the market, the Giada D2308 is slimmer than a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, but it packs the features of a full-fledged PC.

Giada will offer a few different models, including the Giada D2308U with a Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 graphics and the Giada D2308V with a Core i5 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX650 graphics.

The systems feature laptop-class chips to keep energy consumption relatively low (and to prevent the little computers from overheating). But Intel’s Core i5-4200U and Core i7-4500U chips should offer enough performance for most tasks, especially when paired with NVIDIA graphics.

Each model features room for a 2.5 inch drive, 2 mini PCI Express card slots, WiFi , Bluetooth and Ethernet, dual HDMI ports, a DVI port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and an SD card reader.

Neither model is available for purchase in the US yet, but Neweg sells an older model called the D2305 with an Intel Ivy Bridge processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT640 graphics for $605.

  1. what is stupid about nvidia is, it has people guessing what is inside..wtf??!!

  2. The single review on Newegg for the old version says “During first week I’ve got two system crashes when leaving the system to download Windows updates over night.”

I wonder if it overheated. Although the guy also mentions games ran okay but didn’t mention what games as a clue to how much load they put on the system while gaming.
