Samsung’s not the only company launching new low-cost Android tablets. Lenovo has unveiled 4 new models which will sell between £99 and  £170 in the UK (I haven’t seen US pricing yet).
Update: Prices range from $129 to $249 in the US.
The new Lenovo A7-30, A7-50, A8, and A10 feature 7 through 10 inch displays and a focus on entertainment features including Dolby audio and front-facing speakers.
All 4 tablets are expected to hit the streets in select markets starting in the second quarter of 2014.
7 inch tabletsÂ
The cheapest model is the A7-30, which features a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor, a 2MP rear camera, and front-facing VGA camera.
It supports 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth, and SIM card support on models with cellular capabilities. It has a 3500mAh battery.
Lenovo also offers an A7-50 model with a “wide-view” HD display.
Lenovo A8
The 8 inch model has a 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 4200mAh battery.
Lenovo’s 8 inch tablet will be supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and there’s a 3G model. According to SlashGear, the Lenovo A8 will be available with either a MediaTek MTK8121 or MTK8382 processor.
Lenovo A10
While this model has the largest screen, it still has a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The 10.1 inch tablet has a 6340mAh battery, a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and optional 3G.
