Tired of just using Google’s $35 media streamer to, you know… stream media? You can use a Chromecast to play games on your TV. Or you can try an Android app called DrawCast which lets you doodle on your TV using a Chromecast.
Update: The app has been renamed CastPad for trademark-related reasons.
Just fire up the CastPad app on your Android phone or tablet, choose a pen color, and start drawing. Whatever you’re scribbling on the small screen will show up on your big screen TV almost instantly.
CastPad is available as a free download, but the free app only supports 3 colors, black, white and blue. If you want 30 colors and an ad-free experience, you can pay $2 for CastPad Premium through an in-app purchase.
The latest version of CastPad also has a neat trick: if the app is installed on multiple phones or tablets and they’re all connected to your Chromecast, anything you draw on one screen will show up on all the others.

Put a TV in the conference room, add Chromecast and the app, and you can whiteboard without getting up.
Finally Chromecast gets its killer app!
Seems almost… pointless.
WHY ?
Hell if I know. Could make for one seriously high-tech version of Pictionary. Or a sort of whiteboard thing.
