Asus is making a play for the living room with its latest desktop PC. The Asus VivoPC is a sleek silver box that looks more like a game console (or a Mac Mini perhaps) than a PC. But under the hood it’s got the guts of a Windows 8 computer.
The VivoPC supports 802.11ac WiFi for streaming videos over a fast internet connection, and  supports Asus SonicMaster audio.
But aside from the fact that it’s got a few USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, optical digital audio, and an SD card slot, there’s not much more we actually know about the VivoPC at this point.
Asus hasn’t said anything about the processor, memory, or storage, aside from the fact that the VivoPC supports SATA 6GB/s drives.
The company did unveil a new mouse that looks like it’s designed to go with the VivoPC though. The Asus VivoMouse  is an oddly-shaped wireless mouse that also happens to have a nice big touchpad built into it.
In other words, you can slide it around your desk or table to move an on-screen cursor, just as you would with any mouse. But you can also tap your fingers on the touch surface to perform touch-based gestures such as pinch to zoom or swiping from the edge to switch apps or bring up the Windows 8 Charms menu.
Asus really likes that shiny look with circular lines thing. Not a fan.
You forgot one important feature that it has. Apparently, it can also be used as a bathroom scale.
