Chinese tablet maker Smart Devices is working on a new 8 inch Android tablet with a 1024 x 768 pixel display and a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor that seems ripped right out of the pages of 2011.
But it’s not the processor that the company thinks makes the SmartQ N10 tablet stand apart. It’s the case that comes with the tablet.
According to Smart Devices, the case features a sturdy panels that let you protect the screen or prop up the tablet on a desk, table, or countertop so you can watch videos or type on an external keyboard.
The case has apparently been machine tested to stand up to 100,000 bendings, and it measures just 4.4mm, or about 0.17 inches thick.
As for the tablet itself, it features 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP rear camer and a 2MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 7000mAh battery.
