There are plenty of media center remote controls that work with Windows computers. But the Feilan FL-102 is a universal remote that you can also use with an Android device.
In other words if you have an Android TV box that you’re using to run XBMC, Netflix, or other media apps on your TV, you can plug a USB dongle into your box and use this remote to control media playback.
The Feilan FL-102 is available from aHappyDeal for $26.51, but if you use the coupon code “facebook2013” you can knock the price down to $23.86.
It’s an infrared remote with learning functions, which means you can also use it to control your TV, DVD player, or other devices.
In addition to Android, the FL-102 works with Windows, OS X, and Linux computers.
There’s a jog-ball and arrow buttons in the center of the remote which you can use to move a mouse cursor, as well as number keys, a QWERTY thumb keyboard, and a whole slew of other buttons.
Needless to say, the remote’s kind of huge. But if you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive wireless remote to use with a media center, it looks like an interesting option.

It is a nice remote, but there is no “STOP” button in the media controls, and it is kind of a pain to have a button that immediately shuts your entire PC down without even an “Are you sure?” dialogue. I had to go into my power settings and disable the Power Button.
41 $ shipping to my country!
That is insane!
I’ve already used an IR remote with a mouse mode, where it’s possible to move the cursor with the arrow keys. The whole experience was a nightmare. Either the cursor just moves too slowly, or you lose accuracy. So for me at least, no gyro, not interested.
“Sorry, this promotional code does not exist”
Still a decent price for what it claims to do.
The code works for me. You didn’t include the quotation marks, did you?
oh, sorry… it should be all one word with no space between facebook and 2013!
No problemo, I was holding off on getting one.
It worked for me just now so I went for it.
That thing is insane… Do they make a bluetooth version?
