Lenovo has unveiled three new Android tablets, and while the company’s not ready to talk pricing yet, it looks like Lenovo isn’t aiming high with its new 7 and 10 inch tablets.

All three models feature low to mid-range specs, which suggests they’ll also carry low to mid-range price tags.

Lenovo IdeaTab A1000

The A1000 is an entry-level tablet which Lenovo says is “ideal for first-time tablet buyers,” which translates roughly as “people who don’t want to spend a lot of money on a tablet.”

The 7 inch tablet features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Lenovo is also playing up the audio performance: the tablet has Dolby Digital Plus audio and front-facing speakers.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000

This model features a 1.2 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel IPS display, and a microSD card slot plus “extensive memory” built in.

Lenovo will also offer this model with an optional HSPA+ modem.

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000

Lenovo’s 10 inch S6000 tablet has a 1.2 GHz MTK8389/8125 quad-core processor, a 1280 x 800 pixel display with a 178 degree viewing angle, a microHDMI port, and optional HSPA+ modem.

The S6000 measures 0.34″ thick and weighs 1.2 pounds and Lenovo says it should offer up to 8 hours of battery life.

The choice of processors, screen resolutions and other features suggest that Lenovo isn’t exactly trying to take on the latest Apple iPad, Google Nexus, or Asus Transformer tablets. But on paper these three new tablets look like they could compete with the latest Archos or Coby tablets.
