Samsung Series 9

It figures. Just over a month after I spent $800 on the Samsung Series 9 NP900X3D, Amazon is offering this ridiculously thin and light ultrabook for just $699.99. It’s a one-day deal, so if you’re interested you should probably act fast.

This ultrabook measures half an inch thick, weighs about 2 and a half pounds, and features an Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge processor, a 13.3 inch, 1600 x 900 pixel matte display, and 4GB of RAM.

It runs Windows 8, but doesn’t have a touchscreen. I haven’t really found that to be a problem in my use. You can read more of my thoughts on this ultrabook in my Samsung Series 9 NP900X3D review.

Or you can check out some more of today’s best deals:

A similar model seems to work, but needs tweaks. http://blog.jospoortvliet.com/2012/09/linux-and-samsung-series-9-np900x3c.html
