Amazon Kindle Fire

Amazon may not be selling first-generation Kindle Fire tablets anymore, but the 2011 model can do almost everything the newer Kindle Fire 2 can… and if you’re bargain hunting, you can pick one up for a lot cheaper.

Best Buy is offering refurbished Kindle Fire tablets for $85 at the moment. That’s not a bad price for a tablet with a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a TI OMAP 4 dual core processor. It’s also pretty easy to replace Amazon’s custom version of Android with CyanogenMod or other software to turn the Kindle Fire into a fully functional Android tablet.
