The Acer Iconia B1 is a 7 inch Android tablet that’s expected to sell for $150 when it goes on sale in the US. But Acer may not be limiting its low-end tablet line to a single model. According to China Times, the company is prepping 8 and 10 inch tablets as well.
Both new tablets are expected to feature MediaTek quad-core processors, which should be a bit speedier than the dual-core MediaTek chip used in the 7 inch Iconia B1.
There aren’t many more details about the new tablets, other than the fact that they’ll be competitively priced.
There’s no word on when the new 8 and 10 inch tablets will launch, or whether they’ll be available in the US or not.
