The Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx is a Windows 8 tablet with an 11.6 inch display, an Intel Atom Clover Trail processor, and a $599 price tag. There’s also an optional keyboard docking station which is expected to cost another $150.

Lenovo told us the Lynx would ship in December. But it looks like you can already pre-order from some retailers… who are calling the Lynx the Lenovo IdeaCentre K3.

Lenovo IdeaCentre K3

A number of stores in US and Canada are taking pre-orders for around $600, including:

The tablet reportedly has 2GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage, and an 11.6 inch IPS display.

If this is indeed the Lynx, it will also have a 2MP front-facing camera, micro USB, micro HDMI, and microSD ports, a 1366 x 768 pixel display, and a 6800mAh battery for up to 8 hours of run time.

The optional keyboard dock includes a second battery which should double your battery life.

thanks Paul!

  1. 11.6 inch doesn’t bother me

I don’t want a keyboard dock, yet at least.

I want Win 8 Pro over Win 8 RT

But 599 is too much for a tab, and it’s a bit tackey in design !
