Lenovo’s new IdeaPad S300 is an affordable portable notebook with a list price of $479 and up, a 13.3 inch display, and a case that’s just 0.88 inches thick. The laptop is now available for order, and if you pick one up during Lenovo’s Cyber Monday promotion you can snag one for $383.20 and up.
That price will get you a model with a 1.5 GHz INtel Celeron 887 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, WiFi, Blutooth, HDMI, and Windows 8.
Lenovo also offers higher-priced models with Inel Core i3 or Core i5 Sandy Bridge processors.
At just under 4 pounds, the Lenovo IdeaPad S300 could easily be mistaken for an ultrabook. It doesn’t technically count because it doesn’t have any solid state storage and it’s a fraction of an inch too chunky.
The notebook features a 1366 x 768 pixel display, a 03MP webcam, stereo speakers with Dolby audio, and a battery which Lenovo says should be good for up to 5 hours of run time.
