Lenovo’s upcoming IdeaTab Lynx is a Windows 8 tablet with an 11.6 inch display and Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor. The Lynx will go on sale in December, when you’ll be able to pick up the tablet for $599. You can also add an optional keyboard docking station for another $150.
The Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx features a 1366 x 768 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB to 64GB of storage. It has a 2MP front-facing camera, microUSB port, microSD card slot, and micro HDMI port.
The 11.6 inch tablet has a 6800mAh battery which should be good for up to 8 hours of run time. But if you add the optional keyboard dock you can double your battery life and get up to 16 hours.
Lenovo’s tablet features 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, a 5-point capacitive multitouch display, dual stereo speakers, and dual microphones. The tablet measures 11.9″ x 7.4″ x 0.4″ and weighs about 1.4 pounds. With the keyboard the weight jumps to 2.9 pounds.
The Lynx joins a growing number of upcoming Windows 8 tablets with Clover Trail chips including the Acer Iconia W510, HP Envy X2, and Asus Vivo Tab.
