Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga now available for $999
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga is a laptop that bends over backward to become a tablet… literally. The notebook has a 13.3 inch touchscreen display. You can lift the lid and use the Yoga like a normal laptop — or push the screen back 360 degrees so it’s back to back with the keyboard and use the Yoga like a tablet.
Starting today, you can pick one up for $999. That’s a little lower than the $1099 starting price we’d heard about earlier this month.

For $999, you get a model with a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i3-317U Ivy Bridge Processor, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB solid state disk, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI output, and a 1600 x 900 pixel display.
The computer runs Windows 8.
Lenovo is also offering models with Core i5 and Core i7 processors and 8GB of RAM for $1099 and $1299, respectively.
The IdeaPad Yoga weighs about 3.4 pounds and is expected to get up to 8 hours of battery life. That makes it kind of heavy for a tablet, but reasonably light-weight for a laptop.
