Archos is set to launch a new Android tablet with an 11.6 inch full HD display next year. The new Archos 11 XS will be part of the same family as the Archos 101 XS tablet which hits the streets in September… it’ll just have a bigger screen.

The folks at IDBOOX attended an Archos event where the company laid out its new tablet plans. In addition to the 11.6 inch model, Archos will also offers XS series tablets with 8 inch and 9.7 inch displays. Those models will have 4:3 aspect ratio displays, while the Archos 101 XS and Archos 11 XS each have 16:9 screens.

All of the tablets in this lineup come with a “coverboard” which you can use as a screen cover, a physical keyboard, or a tablet stand.

Archos also appears to be working on an even larger tablet, called the MW13 FamilyPad. But this 13 inch tablet will likely be sold under the Arnova brand, which Archos reserves for its lower-cost budget tablets.
