Lenovo is introducing a new 7 inch Android 4.0 tablet for the Chinese market. What makes the Lenovo LePad S2107 stand out isn’t the screen or the operating system though — it’s the two SIM card slots.
In other words, you’ll be able to use the tablet on two different mobile broadband networks without swapping out cards. I suspect this feature may be more desirable in China than it is in the US, which is probably why the A2107 is being launched in Lenovo’s home country.
The tablet features a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. It’s powered by a 1 GHz MTK6575 single core processor — a chip that seems to show up in a number of Chinese tablets and smartphones.
Lenovo’s tablet has front and rear cameras and a 10 hour battery.
it’s expected to go on sale in China next week.
