The Acer Iconia Tab A510 is a 10 inch tablet with a 1.3 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The Android 4.0 tablet went up for pre-order a few weeks ago, and now it’s available for purchase in the US. you can grab one $449.99 from Amazon or the Acer Store.

This is actually the Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition, which means it comes with an Olympics logo on the back. It will be available in black or silver, but right now it looks like only the black model is shipping.

The tablet has 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a 1280 x 800 pixel display, a 5MP rear camera, and a 1MP front-facing camera. It has USB and HDMI ports, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1.

Acer says the tablet should get up to 12 hours of battery life, and the company has included a 9800mAh battery to help achieve that goal.

The company also plans to roll out Android 4.0 software updates for the Iconia Tab A500 and A100 tablets before the end of April.

  1. Nothing new under the sun beside the battery. Which is good but its the only feature than can be put forward.
    Also the 32 GB and Tegra 3, maybe?
    Is it a WXGA Screen as I read somewhere else?

    Let’s say a solid tablet but the look isnt ‘sexy’ at all.
