A new Samsung tablet showed up at the FCC website today. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s probably the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), since the company’s other 10 inch tablet hit the FCC a few weeks ago.
The FCC doesn’t provide many details about the tablet, but we do know it’s labeled the Samsung GT-P5110 and it features 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR.
It also has a 25.9Whr battery and at least some models appear to have 3G capabilities.
If this is indeed the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), then it will also have a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 ipxel display, a 1 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB to 32GB of storage, and Google Android 4.0 software.
The tablet is expected to go on sale in the UK this month, but I haven’t seen an official US release date or price yet.
Don’t know what the reason is, but I would stick with the Galaxy Tab 2. Have read many reviews and comparisons, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 really stoned me, and I have collected many tips from Aneesoft tablet spot for it.Â
It won’t be the Galaxy Tab 2… more like “the NEW Galaxy Tab”.
Noticed how less attractive Android 7 and 10 inch tablets are since Apple dropped the price on the iPad 2? Smart move that one 🙂
