Lenovo has added a new 13.3 inch ultrabook to is IdeaPad U line of thin and light laptops. The Lenovo IdeaPad U300e features an Intel Core i5 processor and a $959 price tag, putting it squarely in between the cheaper IdeaPad U260 and the pricier IdeaPad U300S.
The new model sports a 1366 x 768 pixel display, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 1.3MP camera, and 532GB of disk space thanks to a 500GB hard drive and 32GB solid state disk.
It has HDMI output, WiFi and Bluetooth, and a one-piece touchpad.
The laptop looks virtually identical to the $1499 IdeaPad U300S, but that model has a faster Core i7 processor and a 256GB solid state disk instead of a hard drive/SSD combo.
Lenovo also unveiled 13 and 14 inch ultrabooks called the U310 and U410 at CES earlier this year, with prices expected to start at $799. But there’s no sign of either laptop yet.
