More HP Mini netbooks with Cedar Trail chips on the way

HP recently introduced a new business netbook with an Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processors. Now it looks like the company is getting ready to upgrade its consumer netbooks with Cedar Trail chips as well.

 HP Mini 110

French retailer Géant’s latest product catalog shows listings for new HP Mini 110 and Mini 210 netbooks with Intel’s latest low-power Atom processors. They both look a lot like the HP Mini 1104 business netbook that launched recently in the US.

The new HP Mini 110 will have a 10.1 inch display, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N2600 dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive as well as 802.11n WiFi. It will sell for about 279 Euros.

The HP Mini 210 is nearly identical, but it has a faster 1.83 GHz Intel Atom N2800 chip, Beats audio, and a 309 Euro price tag. The image also suggests it could have a metallic gray case rather than the all-black case used in the cheaper Mini 110.

There’s no word on if or when these new netbooks will hit the US, or how much they’ll cost.
