The JXD S7100 is an Android tablet designed for video games. It has a 7 inch touchscreen display, but what sets it apart from other tablets are the game controllers on the left and right side of the screen. The tablet also has a custom user interface designed to help you download and sort through a variety of games.
Netbook News.it bought an inexpensive S7100 tablet recently and has posted a detailed review.
The good news is that the tablet has decent build quality and reasonably good performance considering it’s price. You can pick one up for $170 or less.
On the other hand, the tablet gets just 3 hours of battery life, there’s a decent chance that if you try to order a model with a capacitive display you might get a resistive touchscreen model anyway, and many of the games that come with the JXS S7100 are in Chinese, so you’ll probably want to find your own games.
While the tablet ships with its own app and game store instead of the Android Market, you can root the tablet easily using z4root and once that’s done, you can install the Android Market or other apps.
The JXD S7100 has an 800 MHz Amlogic processor, Mali 400 graphics, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of storage, and an 800 x 480 pixel display.
sucks ass
8 gig on board get it right
Just sell the control and make it hook onto any 7 inch Android tablet. I’d buy one for my kid.
