The HP Folio 13 is the first ultrabook from Hewlett Packard. It’s a thin and light notebook with a 13.3 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display that weighs 3.3 pounds and measures 0.7 inches thick. The Folio 13 has a list price of $899.99, but LogicBuy notes that you can grab one for $703.49 when you use coupon code NBK3573.

The base mdoel of the laptop includes 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 128GB solid state disk, a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-2467M processor and Intel HD 3000 graphics. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, but a Window s7 Professional upgrade is also available.
Ultrabooks are a new category of ultraportable laptops that chip-maker Intel is pushing. They’re characterized by their thin and light design, solid state disks, long battery life, and quick boot and resume from sleep times.
Lenovo, Acer, Asus, and Toshiba have also introduced ultrabooks in recent months.
It seems the coupon is no longer applied to Folio 13.
Wow… Â If only that processor could run it’s graphics cores at acceptable levels without turbo so that during those times when you need to use the CPU AND GPU it wouldn’t completely suck… Â
