At first glance, the Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D looks like any other Android tablet. It has a 10 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display and a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor. The tablet runs Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb and has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

But there’s one key feature that sets the Arrows Tab F-01D apart from other Android tablets… and most portable electronics: You can dip it in water without causing any damage.

While I just spend a good half week drying out an iPod touch in a bag of rice after it got a little too close and personal with a glass of water, the F-01D has a rugged case that’s designed to be water resistant.

Of course, it’s one thing to read about the rugged case in a press release. It’s another thing to see it for yourself. Fortunately Balazs Gal from nDevil got a chance to do that at a recent event — and he shot a little video showing what happens when you dip the tablet into a small pool of water. What happens? Nothing. Nothing at all.

The Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D is currently available in Japan. There’s no word on if or when it will go on sale in other parts of the globe.
