The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch tablet was the first Android tablet to be sold by every major US wireless carrier when it launched last year. Since then Samsung has introduced a range of additional tablets with different screen sizes including the Tab 8.9 and Tab 10.1. But it looks like the company also has a new 7 inch model in the works, called the Galaxy Tab Plus.
TmoNews has a few details (and photos) of the new device. Apparently we’re looking at a tablet with a 7 inch display and a 4G HSPA+ radio.
There’s no word on the processor, screen resolution, price, or launch date. But it looks like the new tablet is running Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb with the latest Samsung TouchWiz user interface running on top.
Last month a leaked product roadmap mentioned a new Samsung tablet with a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, but it’s not clear if this is that device. Samsung also recently unveiled a tablet with a 7.7 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display.
