HTC Evo View 4G tablet available from Sprint tomorrow
The HTC Evo View 4G tablet goes on sale at Sprint tomorrow. Basically it’s the same device as the HTC Flyer 7 inch Android tablet I reviewed recently with a few small exceptions:
- It packs a 4G WiMAX modem.
- You can pick it up for $399.99 when you sign up for a 2-year data contract.
- That price includes the digital pen accessory.
- The white and silver color case has been replaced with black and gray.
The rest of the specs are the same. The tablet has a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and Google Android 2.3 operating system with HTC Sense software. There are also some custom apps designed to work with the digital pen including a note taking app that syncs with Evernote and an eBook reading app that lets you scribble notes on the pages.
