MSI WindPad Enjoy 7

MSI unveiled the WindPad Enjoy 7 at Computex last week. It’s a cheap 7 inch tablet with a price of $199, but mobile tech expert jkkmobile says you get a lot of tablet for that low price.

He got a chance to check one out in person, and he reports that the WindPad Enjoy 7 has a sturdy build quality with a metal back panel, a USB port, HDMI output, headset, and microSD card slot, power and volume buttons, and a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display.

The tablet runs Google Android 2.3, with a few touch-sensitive buttons include a back button and volume keys on the screen — although the tablet also has capacitive touch buttons on the side.

Unfortunately, the touchscreen was non-responsive on the demo unit, so it’s tough to test performance, but the tablet has a 1.2 GHz Rockchip ARM Cortex-A8 processor.

You can check out jkkmobile’s hands-on video after the break.

  1. Throw in 3G and phone capabilities and it might look like half decent offer, other than that I see NO reason to spend 200$ on laptop with such low specs.
