It’s been a busy week for FCC filings. This week two new Samsung tablets showed up at the Federal Communications Commission web site, competing touchscreen eBook readers from Kobo and Barnes & Noble also made appearances, and a few other goodies showed up as well. Here’ s a brief roundup of items that may be soon coming to the US, if the wireless test results and device label locations are anything to go by.

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (WiFi)
While we’ve seen a few listings for this tablet at the FCC already, it looks like Samsung will be offering 3G and WiFi-only variants. Previous listings were for 3G models, while this listing is for the WiFi-only tablet. Note that some
  • Alcatel OneTouch T60
The FCC listing for this tablet includes photos of the T60′s insides and exterior. There’s also a user manual which is how we know that the tablet has a 3MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, SD card, and automatic screen rotation. The 3G capable tablet will run Google Android 2.2
  • Barnes & Noble touchscreen NOOK
Barnes & Noble introduced a new version of the NOOK eBook Reader this week with a 6 inch E Ink display. Now you can check out the FCC label information and a confidentiality request. Cool, huh?
  • Kobo touchscreen eBook Reader
Kobo also introduced a new touchscreen eReader this week, and the company has been a little more forthcoming with the details in the FCC filing. Sure, there’s still a confidentiality request, but the label diagram has prettier pictures.
