New Acer Aspire One Happy netbook shows up in Italy

The Acer Aspire One Happy is a colorful netbook which stands out from the crowd pretty much exclusively due to a bright lid. But Acer is updating the Happy with a new design featuring a sort of water ripple pattern on the lid, yellow, orange, blue, and pink colors, and the latest netbook specs including a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor, 1GB of DDR3 memory and up to 320GB of hard drive space.

The netbook is expected to go on sale in Italy soon for around 299 Euros, or roughly $420 US — although the price would likely be much lower in the US.

The computer runs Windows 7 Starter, weighs 2.86 pounds, and features a 48Whr, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth. Some models may also be available with a dual-boot Windows and Google Android configuration.

You can find more images and details at Notebook Italia.
