ViewSonic has been showing off a 10 inch dual boot tablet capable of running Windows 7 and Android for a few months. Now the ViewSonic ViewPad 10 is shipping in the US with a starting price of $599.

The Viewpad 10 features a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display and a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor. The base model runs Windows 7 Home Premium and Google Android 1.6 and comes with 1GB of memory, and a 16GB solid state disk. You can order this model from Dynamism for $599.

A higher end model will also be available for $679. That version will have 2Gb of RAM, a 32GB SSD and run Windows 7 Professional.
