Samsung teases upcoming tablet, possibly with an 8.9 inch display and slim case

Samsung is holding an event on the eve of the CTIA trade show later this month, and the company is expected to unveil a new tablet. Based on the “What’s your Tab life? 78910″ slogan the company is throwing around, it seems like a safe bet we’re looking at a new model with an 8.9 inch display. Samsung already offers tablets with 7 and 10 inch screens.

That’s about all we know for now, but Samsung did post a teaser photo on its Facebook page today, showing what appears to be a super-slim device which isn’t much thicker than a 3.5mm audio jack. Of course, it’s possible we’re not looking at a headphone jack. Maybe it’s a finger hole and this is really just Samsung’s design for a new and inefficient bowling ball.

We should know one way or the other on March 22nd.
