As Research in Motion’s first tablet inches closer to an official launch, the BlackBerry PlayBook has shown up at the FCC web site. You can check out a couple of wireless test reports at the site, if that’s the sort of thing you’re inclined to do, but the user manual and photos are all tucked away behind a veil of secrecy thanks to a confidentiality request.

The Label location drawings do show that there will be at least three models of the WiFi tablet. It will come with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of storage.

We also know that the tablet will have a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 dual core processor, and 1GB of RAM. It will weigh 14 ounces and measure about 0.4 inches thick.
