AT&T has announced it will offer the Acer Iconia Tab A501 tablet. The 10 inch Android tablet will be the first 4G capable tablet available from AT&T when it launches during the second quarter of the year.

The Acer Iconia Tab A501 has a 10 inch display, a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, front and rear cameras, and HDMI output. The tablet  will run Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

There’s no information on the pricing yet.

I got a chance to check out an early build of the tablet at CES in January. The tablet is thin, light, and reasonably responsive — although the early build was running Android 2.3 instead of Honeycomb.
